One thing I’ve come to appreciate with age is this: no matter how bad an experience feels, it could always be worse.
Life throws challenges at everyone in different ways. In my case, working in production tends to multiply the chances of poo hitting the fan. There are so many moving parts—and many of them are completely beyond our control.
While we can learn from setbacks, there are times when the outcome is simply in the hands of the universe. That’s when I remind myself of a simple truth: it could be worse. Shifting my focus this way helps me stay grateful for what didn’t go wrong.
I originally made these T-shirts as a personal reminder of that perspective. But after a few folks asked me to share them, we’ve decided to release a batch. Now the question is—which design do you prefer?
The “Star Worse” style with heavy block lettering, or the “Stranger Dings” style with a vintage serif typeface?
