Thanks to your support, the pre-order system has been running smoothly so far :-)
As we continue, overlapping pre-orders will become more common — meaning that new items may go live while you’re still waiting for a previous one to ship.
While it’s completely natural for preferences to change, our pre-order workflow is built around the number of confirmed orders. We produce just enough to match that demand. When orders are changed or cancelled, it can lead to overproduction — which goes against the whole point of offering pre-orders in the first place.
To help us keep this system sustainable, we kindly ask that you place a pre-order only when you’re confident about the item. This allows us to manage resources more effectively and continue offering pre-orders — something many of you have been requesting for years :-)
